The library of the Faculty of Economics in Brčko was established in 1976, built upon the foundations of the library of the Higher Economic and Commercial School. It is designed to meet the needs of educational and scientific work.
In addition to books from various fields of study offered at the Faculty, the library's collection includes doctoral dissertations, master's theses, and undergraduate papers, as well as serial publications (journals, proceedings, annuals). Some of the publications are in foreign languages. There is open access to the shelves where books and other library materials are stored. The library has a well-developed interlibrary exchange of publications with related faculties in the country and abroad.
There is one librarian employed at the library. Within the library, there is a reading room with 35 reading places, which includes a computer with internet access. Some of the library materials can be borrowed by students of our Faculty for a few days, provided they present their student ID or personal identification card.
The EFB library received a new library management program called COBISS in 2019. In the link provided below, you can search (by author, title, or keyword) for monographic publications that have been entered into the electronic database so far.

Until May 2016, the EFB library used the WINISS–Biblio program for library management, and the entire library collection was cataloged and processed. A list of titles of serial and monographic publications has been compiled into a PDF document and can be downloaded from this page. Searching for the requested literature is performed using the classic Search/Find option in the PDF document viewer by entering the title of the book/journal or the name of the author or subject term (topic or theme of the publication). Due to the fact that data in the database was entered using either the Latin or Cyrillic alphabet, we recommend searching using both scripts.
