Biography:
Cviko Lj. Jekić was born on November 24, 1964, in Lopare, where he completed elementary school. He finished high school in Brčko and graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Brčko in 1989. He obtained his master's degree from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade in 2007, focusing on the topic "Quality Management in Commercial Banks." In 2011, he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Economics in Brčko, titled "Quality as a Factor of Success and Vitality of Local Self-Government."
From 1998 to 2000, he worked as a teacher of economics-related subjects at the Vuk Karadžić Secondary School Center in Lopare. He continued his career as an economist in the Municipal Administrative Service of Lopare, where he worked in finance and social affairs until 2014. He completed additional psychological-pedagogical training for teaching in secondary schools as well as for work in public administration.
He was elected as an Assistant Professor in the field of Management in 2013, and since March 1, 2014, he has been permanently employed at the University of East Sarajevo, Faculty of Economics Brčko.
On October 3, 2018, he was promoted to the title of Associate Professor.
He teaches at the Faculty of Economics in Brčko and the Faculty of Business Economics in Bijeljina. At the Faculty of Economics Brčko, he teaches undergraduate courses: Management, Strategic Management, Quality Management, Business Organization, and at the master's level, International Strategic Management. At the Faculty of Business Economics Bijeljina, he teaches Human Resource Management (undergraduate studies).
