At the Faculty of Economics Brčko, University of East Sarajevo, on Monday, September 5, 2016, the first (founding) session of the Assembly of the Association of Graduates of the Faculty of Economics Brčko was held. After adopting the founding act and reviewing and approving the Statute, the leadership of the Association was elected. Professor Dr. Momčilo Poljić was elected as the president of the Association, Dr. Radivoj Kovač as vice president, and MSc Snežana Zarić as secretary.
The Association of Graduates of the Faculty of Economics Brčko was established as a voluntary association open to all graduated economists, master's degree holders, and doctors of economics from the Faculty of Economics Brčko. Membership in the Association is acquired by filling out an application form, thereby accepting the goals, rights, and obligations defined by the Statute and decisions of the Association, along with registration in the Members' Register.

The main goals of establishing, maintaining, and operating the Association are:

• Establishing and strengthening connections and cooperation among former students of the Faculty of Economics Brčko, as well as with the Faculty itself.
• Developing collaboration between the Faculty of Economics Brčko and the companies and institutions where former students are employed.
• Preserving tradition and enhancing the reputation of the Faculty of Economics Brčko in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in the region.
• Establishing and improving relationships and cooperation between the Association and similar educational, developmental, and research institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
• Enhancing the reputation and highlighting the importance of the economics profession in society.
