Postgraduate studies

The Faculty of Economics in Brčko has been organizing since 2005 postgraduate studies in two fields:

I Management and Entrepreneurship
II Management in accounting and auditing

Both tracks have eleven subjects each: five subjects are common, and five are related to specific professional areas for each track, while the subject 'Methodology of Scientific Research' is not assessed.

Conditions

The right to enroll in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics in Brčko is granted to all candidates who hold a diploma of completed higher education.

Candidates who have completed the Faculty of Economics with an average grade below 8 (eight) will take a qualifying exam in one of the following subjects: Economics of Enterprises, Management or Financial Accounting

Candidates who have completed a different faculty and have an average grade below 8 (eight) will take two difference exams during the first semester, which will be defined by the Director of Postgraduate Studies.

Candidates who have completed a different faculty and have an average grade up to 8 (eight) will take a qualifying exam in: Economics of Enterprises or Management Similar to the previous statement, these candidates are also required to take difference exams in the first semester. The qualifying exam is conducted in the form of a test.

When a student has only one exam left to pass, they can apply for the topic of their master's thesis.

Curriculum

Classes in the postgraduate program are conducted according to a curriculum that encompasses the following objectives:

The study program represents a comprehensive entity focused on the issues of: management and entrepreneurship, management in accounting, and auditing
The program content of each discipline encompasses the modern achievements of scientific work,
The programs of all disciplines include the application of contemporary theoretical achievements in the analysis of practical examples,
The foundation for mastering the programs of all disciplines is contemporary domestic and foreign literature.

The lecture sessions are scheduled for Fridays from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The lectures will be held in a lecture hall at the Faculty of Economics in Brčko.
